About

My name is john and I started this website in 2011. I wanted to create a centralized place for my friends to go so they could learn about the awesome community happenings I was finding. I also wanted to share and log the experiences I was having. This idea was sparked after posting pictures from an event and having multiple “I wish I had known, I would’ve loved to help, let me know next time” comments…

…Fast forward to December 2013. Turns out it’s hard to find time to write about the things you see when you’re self employed, suffer from Crohn’s Disease and, well, do things. Over the years I have been part of some unforgettable experiences. I have met many amazing people, some who have grown to become my closest friends. I have opened up this platform so they can share the things they sometimes do.
